Poverty in America

Sometimes its when poverty hits closest to home that its hardest to see. Poverty we have come to expect from other countries and not in the United States. Nevertheless, poverty does have the face of a woman even in such a powerful nation as America. Below you will see the image of a homeless woman's worldly possessions and a camping area that she made between bushes which hid her at night; nevertheless, it is a place to sleep near a parking garage within Reston, Virginia's city limits. Homelessness is not a disease and the homeless are still people that need our help, even in America. We want to start here and then in God's time expand outward to other countries. That is our hope and prayer; to be helpful and useful if possible.
